A recent acquisition combines Umicore Optics' expertise in the production and supply of materials with V&S Scientific's many years of experience in optical design and fabrication of CO₂ laser optics and beam delivery systems. This will allow Umicore Optics to achieve its goal of providing a complete service, to end users with specialist requirements as well as large laser manufacturers.

V&S -now known as Umicore Laser Optics- designs and manufactures optical components such as lenses, mirrors, windows, beam splitters, cavity optics, scanner optics, beam combiners, etc.

Our large range of modular beam delivery systems includes beam delivery expanders, focusing units, attenuators, nozzles and phase retarding units. New standards are set with new products such as the Dual-Focus lenses.
